About me

Hello to all!

It’s quite hard to write about me, normally I would let others to talk or write about me. I’ll try anyway to write a small summary about my activity until now so that we get to know each other better.

I was born in 1978 in Romania. Not the very best place to be at that time but I managed .

In 1996 I started writing code (back then I was using Visual Basic and VC++) and soon I started making a living out of it.

Later on, in 2001, after working with a great team on flights.com, I thought that it would be the time to move on and get involved in project management.

Quite soon I made a career change and switched to Direct Marketing for a Romanian company. I was involved in a lot of interesting projects for banks, insurance companies, Coca Cola, Procter & Gamble and more.

At some point I switched back to the online market and started working on concept development and project management. Anyway, I always kept my passion for programming.

After being involved in various projects (both independently and as an employee) I work right now for one of the biggest media groups in Romania.
